1 Corinthians 13:4,7 Versecard inked

Hadn’t shared an uncolored versecard yet, so here below is the latest… looking forward to adding color 🙂

charity card

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corin. 13:4-7

Perhaps one could think of charity as agape-action… practiced agape…  Not based on feelings or emotions.  Based on reason…  Only if God speaks the truth is pure charity possible 🙂

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,

which is in Christ Jesus

our Lord.”

Romans 8:38+39

What are verse-cards?

Well, the picture is a postcard with Romans 15:13 written on it, but why?

The words of the Lord are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” Psalm 12:6

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”  Isaiah 40:8

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”  Luke 4:4

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”  Colossians 3:16

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.  The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.” John 3:34+35

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”  Colossians 2:10

Verse-cards are postcards with a Bible verse on it, sent out to Christians for the encouragement of the church 🙂

Thank you for reading this and taking an interest in a budding ministry idea; may brothers and sisters everywhere be praying and growing in God’s words, (and boldly speaking the gospel of Christ)!
